The Municipal Court in Sarajevo found Dragisa Djogovic, Eldina Handzic, Emir Barakovic and Haris Pandza guilty of the criminal offense of abuse of position or authority after accepting the plea agreement.

Eldina Handzic was sentenced to a prison sentence of eight months, and Dragisa Djogovic was sentenced to a prison sentence of four months.

Emir Barakovic was sentenced to three months in prison, while Haris Pandza was sentenced to a suspended sentence.

They were convicted because during 2019 they avoided the mandatory cashier’s procedure, and charged patients fees for medical procedures performed in the plastic and vascular surgery clinic of the General Hospital “Abdulah Nakas”. They kept the money and shared it among themselves.

Thus, Dragisa Djogovic and Eldina Handzic took money in the amount of 694.60 BAM, then Emir Barakovic and Eldina Handzic 390 BAM, while Haris Pandza together with Eldina Handzic took 70 BAM. By judgment, they are obliged to return the acquired illegal property benefit.
