Members of the Federal Police Administration last night searched several facilities in the Sarajevo Canton used by the taxi service “Holand Taxi”, and four people were detained, suspected of drug trafficking and money laundering.

On that occasion, the aforementioned persons were brought to the premises of the Federal Police Administration for questioning, and certain documentation relevant to the investigation was temporarily seized.

It is also suspected that this company had been illegally providing taxi services for a long period of time.

The operation was carried out by order of the Special Department for Suppression of Corruption, Organized and Intercantonal Crime of the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH, and under the supervision of the acting federal prosecutor of the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of the FBiH.

In addition to the Federal Police Administration, assistance in the case is also provided by the Tax Administration of the FBiH.
