The RS Minister of Education and Culture Goran Mutabdžija received today four students from the RS that will participate in the 54th international mathematics olympics from 18-28 July this year in Columbia.
Dejan Gvozdenac from the Gymnasium in Banja Luka, Marko Palangetić from the high school ‘Milorad Vlačić in Vlasenica, Marko Rajković from ‘Aleksa Šantić’ in Nevesinje and Milica Đukić from high school in Prnjavor.
Mutabdžija said that participation in the international competition provides an opportunity for gifted students to show their mathematical skills and abilities, to have new experiences for further development.
“The results of the students at the international competition are one of the most valuable indicators of work with gifted children’’, said Mutabdžija.
The Minister of Education and Culture of the RS will ay the full travel and accommodation costs for participants at the international competition, and will give pocket money to the students.
Based on the results achieved at the 18th mathematical competition held from 18-19 May this year, participation of the BiH tem at the international mathematics competition includes 4 students from the RS and two from the FBiH.
