SutjeskaOn their trip through Europe, 200 Frenchmen in 65 cars Peugeot 205 visited Foca, and the Tourist Organization and municipality welcomed them with local kebabs and a concert by the rock band “Paranoid”.

French students, members of the organization EuropeRaid, who are traveling through Europe and revealing beautiful sights of countries through which they pass by, arrived last night in Foca and spent the night in tents at the stadium in Donje Polje, and today went to Budva.

They departed from France on the 30th of July and they are planning to visit 20 countries in Europe for 23 days.

“You cannot imagine how interesting is journey through our continent and how many beautiful things can be seen,” said Almo Dicore.

Young Frenchmen came to Foca from Croatia, and they were especially delighted by passing through the national park “Sutjeska”.

“It is wonderful experience to go through the Sutjeska Canyon. We liked the landscape so much and all participants enjoyed the ride, so we will certainly recommend to all our friends in France to visit this place,” said Benjamin Aidi.

Director of the Tourist Organization, Ljeposava Djajic, said that the fact that they are passing through 20 countries and to spend one night in Foca gives sufficient importance to this destination.

“Although they could not see much, they went through National Park “Sutjeska” and we hope that they will take the best memories from Foca,” she said.

The French continued their “ride through Europe” this morning, and they arranged and cleaned the place where they camped before leaving.
