Fun at the White Olympic Mountains: Walk, Sledge, Ski or Simply Admire the Landscape from Lifts

skijanje-702x336At Babin Dol (Bjelašnica) the ski lifts BX, K1 (cradle) are today in function just as   baby lifts and the two-seat lift at Malo Polje (Igman).

If the conditions allow it, the ski lift BY at Babin Dol will also start with work later on if the wind stops. – was communicated from ZOI ’84.

The night skiing for all visitors begins on December 30, from 18:30 to 21:00 o’clock.

The height of snow at Babin dol is 40 centimetres while the temperature is 10 degrees below zero.

The height of snow on the top of Bjelašnica is 36 centimetres and the temperature is 19 degrees below zero.

At Malo polje (Igman) the height of the snow is 55 centimetres with a temperature of 12 degrees below zero.

The situation and the conditions at the Olympic mountains Bjelašnica and Igman as well as in the Olympic complex of Zetra can be followed live on ski.ba.

Starting with January 2015, night skiing starts at Jahorina too. It will be free on Jauary 1st. It begins at 18:00 o’clock and ends at 21:00 o’clock.

The price is 15 BAM for all ages.
