Gal Gadot as Amela went out for a Date with O.J. Simpson

Popular actress Gal Gadot in the US television show Sutarday Night Live played Amela from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), who has no idea that she went out to dinner with a former prisoner and a star of US football O.J. Simpson, played by Kenan Thompson.

“Amela, what kind of name is that?” asked O.J. Simpson at the beginning of a humorous sketch.

Amela replied that she was from BiH and then they started talking about the war in the 1990s.

“It was a war of independence, we were very isolated from the outside world. It was terrible,” Amela told O.J. Simpson, to which he replied: “I’m glad you survived to be able to meet you.”

After the story of BiH, Amela begins to question O.J. Simpson about his origins. When she notices how people from the restaurant start to behave strangely toward him, Amela begins to question him about the job she is doing.

“It can be said that I withdrew. I used to be a very good athlete,” O.J. Simpson said.

At the end of the sketch, Amela tells her friend how she is having a great time with O.J., after which she began to receive numerous messages, while the guests from the restaurant are behind them.

“Some people really do not have shame,” O.J. Simpson says and eventually leaves the restaurant with Amela.

We recall, O.J. Simpson was recently released from prison in Nevada, where he spent nine years. In 2007, he was charged with armed robbery, assault with lethal weapons, and ten other felonies. Also, in 1995, he was charged with the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her lover Ronald Goodman but acquitted.
