Germany continues its long-standing cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina to create safer living conditions for its population.

German Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Margret Webber handed over 10 vehicles worth 200,000 euros to the Deputy Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), Mr. Duro Knezevic.

SIPA, as a prosecution body, is responsible for combating terrorism, organized crime, serious financial crime and corruption, as well as detecting and investigating war crimes throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These 10 vehicles will be equally made available to the “Organized Crime” and “Combating Terrorism” services, thus significantly improving the work of investigators.

Germany also wants to contribute to ensuring that excellent police cooperation between countries is effectively carried out and that personnel and resources are used in an efficient manner.
