Today, the Government of Sarajevo Canton (KS) gave its consent to the Public Institution “Institute for Emergency Medical Aid KS” to hire seven medical doctors, five medical technicians, three X-ray engineers and two emergency medicine specialists for an indefinite period of time.

This institution was also given consent to hire one head of the Economic-Financial and Accounting Affairs Service and one accounting officer for an indefinite period of time, after those positions remained vacant due to retirement and termination of employment contracts.

The government also gave its consent to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo to hire three doctors-specialists in anesthesiology, and 20 nurses-technicians, for an indefinite period of time, for a period of three to six months.

These personnel are necessary to ensure the smooth operation of these health care institutions.

Financial resources for their admission, ie those staff for whom the institutions do not have provided funds, will be provided by the Health Insurance Institute by order of the Government of KS.

When hiring staff, the Institute for Emergency Medical Aid and the Clinical Center are obliged to respect the laws and bylaws that regulate the field of employment, the Protocol and Press Service of KS said.
