12966684_1753637244872952_1233433728_nGovernment of FBiH was introduced yesterday with the letter of Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation regarding the repayment of clearing debt of the Russian Federation to BiH.

The readiness of the Russian Federation to settle liabilities on the basis of clearing debt to our country, in the amount of 125.2 million USD, in monetary form rather than the exchange of goods, was expressed in the letter.

Government of FBiH believes that the proposed initiative is a good basis for negotiations with the Russian Federation, with the aim of concluding an international agreement.

The conclusion will be submitted to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH for the implementation of further procedures.

To recall, the Russian proposal means that the money would be paid in cash, 33.3 % to Republika Srpska and 66.6 % to the FBiH, and the money would be paid directly to entities and not the country.
