Government of FBiH: Funds for Veterans will not be reduced

12966684_1753637244872952_1233433728_nThe Government of FBiH at the 48th session adopted a decision on the amount of coefficients and basis for the calculation and payment of monthly financial compensation for veterans and disabled persons, personal and family disability allowance and monthly financial compensation for the winners of the war awards and honors and their family members for 2016.

Thus was created a legal assumptions that throughout 2016, will be provided regular payment of disability allowance for 92,000 users of personal and family disability allowance (50,000 individuals and 42,000 family) for what is in the budget provided 298 530 000 BAM, and for 5000 winners of the war acknowledgements and honors in the total amount of 17,591,800 BAM.

According to the Law on Budget Execution for 2016 payment of compensation for war veterans, family disability allowance and awards winners have priority in all monthly payments from the budget.

With those decisions, Federal Government and the relevant Ministry confirmed that they remain in their commitment that the rights and resources allocated for veterans will not be reduces, as stated from the Ministry for Issues of the Veterans and Disabled Veterans of FBiH.
