Today, the Government of the Republika Srpska adopted information on the state of agricultural production, product placement and prices of raw materials this year, stating that 10 million BAM will be provided from the Compensation Fund to finance agricultural production.
The funds will be allocated with the aim of preventing further disturbances on the market, providing sufficient quantities of domestic agricultural products and ensuring food security of the population, the Public Relations Bureau of the Government of the Republika Srpska announced.
Out of 10 million BAM, 1.5 million BAM will support the production of mercantile wheat, 2.2 million will be allocated for the regression of all corn seeds, 1.8 million to support the production and purchase of vegetables, and one million BAM to support fruit production.
One million BAM will be provided for co-financing the purchase of quality breeding heifers, and 2.5 million BAM for the purchase and processing of pork.
The Government of the Republika Srpska agrees to reduce the rent and concession fee by 50 percent this year to tenants and concessionaires who have no due but unpaid obligations based on rent, ie concession fee.
The Government of the Republika Srpska proposes to the Council of Ministers of BiH to make a decision on the temporary suspension of customs rates on the import of mineral fertilizers from third countries.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management is instructed to monitor the implementation, take measures within its competence and continuously inform the Government of Republika Srpska on the completion of new agricultural production, showing the effects of measures taken, including measures to mitigate the consequences of rising raw material prices this year.
