The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has appointed new directors of penal institutions in Sarajevo and Tuzla.

Faruk Zupčević was removed from the head of Sarajevo Penitentiary, and Munib Isaković was appointed in his place.

Jasmin Omerbegović, director of Tuzla Penitentiary, was also dismissed from his post, and Adem Mahovkić was appointed in his place.

The director and deputy director of the penitentiary institution are appointed for a four-year term and may be re-appointed after the expiration of that term.

At the previous session of the Government of the Federation of BiH, the director of Zenica Penitentiary, Redžo Kahrović, was dismissed, and Rusmir Isak was appointed to that position.
