Government of the Una-Sana Canton provides over Two Million BAM of Incentives

The Government of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) provided 2.080.000 BAM for milk production incentives in 2019.

“Farmers this year can expect a total of 4,500,000 BAM, but we are now providing these funds directly related to milk production. The second part of the 2,400,000 BAM will be provided and allocated after the adoption of the Federal Program on Expenditures for Agricultural Incentives. We had to react this way to help our farmers because of fuel costs and spring sowing, but also because of the delay in federal incentives,” said the Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Forestry Sulejman Kulenovic.

At today’s regular session, the granting of a grant to the Canton Hospital “Dr. Irfan Ljubijankic” was confirmed in the amount of two million BAM.

“The cantonal hospital in Bihac has about 12 million BAM of debt and this is in fact a big problem,” said the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Policy Nermina Cemalovic.

The last year’s work reports in health centers in Bihac, Bosanski Petrovac, Kljuc and Velika Kladuša did not receive support, as opposed to the Cazin Health Center, which was the only one seen as positive by the Cantonal Government.
