emir-hadzihafizbegovicThe 23rd Film Festival Cottbus is held in Germany from 5-10 November and the grand prix for the best actor went to the B&H actor Emir Hadžihafizbegović.

“I felt that I was playing an unusual and special role while we were doing the film. The struggle of a father for his family and the family’s dignity in those conditions were not easy at all. A year has passed since we recorded the film and a month ago 50.000 people watched it in Slovenia”, said Hadžihafizović.

The international recognition went to our actor for his role in the Slovenian film “Čefuriji raus” (Chefurs Out), written and directed by Bosnian-born writer Goran Vojinović. The significance of the award is even greater since this is a role in a foreign film.
