Konaković in GRAS klix.baGRAS is willing to offer discount on purchase price of monthly coupons for transportation by 8.3 to 15 percent to all budget users and public enterprises who are currently not buying tickets from this enterprise for their employees, in order to improve their sales in the coming period; this was one of the proposals stated by the director of GRAS Avdo Vatrić at the meeting organized within the yesterday’s visit by the delegation of the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, led by the Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković, to this enterprise, adding that the discount would depend on the number of coupons ordered.

Vatrić highlighted that one of the important goals of the management and employees in the future will be the increase in the number of buses and minibuses, in order to improve the coverage of bus and minibus lines and thus make the public transportation services more regular and more available to the citizens of the Sarajevo Canton.

Union representatives Adnan Himzanija and Amir Muminović presented a concrete proposal for a new loan amounting to 50 million BAM for the period of 20 years. This loan would cover all current indebtedness and renew the rolling stock. It would also be used to reconstruct the trolleybus network towards Vogošća and therefore create the best conditions for the recovery of GRAS.

“Through this, the staff of GRAS would certainly take over the role of key factor in the recovery of our enterprise,” said Himzanija.

After listening to concrete proposals, Konaković expressed positive attitude towards plans proposed by the management and highlighted that a serious elaborate must be made for the possibility of taking a loan. The elaborate must include all effects that might result in an implementation of such proposal, with consents and guarantees given by the Assembly and the Government of the Sarajevo Canton.
