York County Convention & Visitors BureauCompany Majevica Ltd. Srebrenik, which, among other things, is producing the famous “Gold flips,” is experiencing its second youth. After chain store Bingo from Tuzla bought 62 % of its shares in 2006, the company is flourishing. Production was constantly increasing in the following period and they recorded good business results. Bingo has secured distribution of products through the large chain of shopping malls and supermarkets on the domestic market and they started to export to Germany in 2015.

The Chief of the Commercial Office of the Majevica Ltd. Srebrenik Nihad Ibric said that the year 2015 was as they expected it to be, and they have introduced 2 new products to the market.

“We started exporting to Germany, and we dispatched two trucks with “Gold flips” and chips. We received positive reactions from our partners in Germany and now they are requesting for 3 more types of product to be shipped. Furthermore, we have already been exporting to Serbia for 3 years,” said Ibric.

When it comes to domestic market, Ibric said that flips is selling much better than chips due to the tradition and recognition of this product. Products of Majevica Ltd. are also part of the campaign “”Buy and use domestic.”

Ibric states that Majevica Ltd. is planning to introduce new products and flavors in 2016 and to increase its production and exports, adding that they are currently employing 60 workers. Realized net profit in the first 6 months of 2015 amounted to 227,905 BAM or 217,809 BAM more than in the same period last year, when the net profit amounted to 9,286 BAM.
