Prices of Goods and Services down in June this Year

In June 2019, on average, price levels decreased in average by 0.5 percent in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Higher prices in divisions of Alcoholic drinks and Tobacco, Communications, Recreation and Culture and Other goods and services.

In June of 2019, as compared to the previous month, the price index increased in divisions of Alcoholic drinks and Tobacco by 0,1%, Communications by 0,3%, Recreation and Culture by 0,7% and Other goods and services by 0,2%.

In June 2019, compared to previous month, the price index decreased in divisions of Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1,1%, Clothing and footwear by 2,9%, Furniture and furnishing by 0,3% and Transport by 0,2%.

According to BiH Agency for Statistics, on annual level, on average, price levels increased by 0,3%.

The price level in June 2019 as compared to the same month of the previous year increased by 0,3%.

The average increase of prices was recorded in divisions of Food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1,1%, Alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 3,8%, Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels by 2,7%, Health by 1,0%, Recreation and Culture by 1,6%, Education by 0,7% and Restaurants and hotels by 0,6%.

The decrease of prices on average was recorded in divisions of Clothing and footwear by 11,8%, Communications by 0,6% and Other goods and services by 0,2%.
