GSS Rescues Croatian Citizens Trapped in Snow at Rujiste

On Thursday, the members of the GSS Prenj were rescuing Croatian citizens who got stuck in the snow with their vehicle below Prenj on the route Rujište-Konjic, on an uncategorized road.

As they stated on their website, the navigation guided the driver on the shortest route from Rujište towards Sarajevo, which led him to a dangerous winter section.

“Our team engaged the off-road vehicle again and with a lot of effort the vehicle was successfully recovered,” said the GSS, adding that although drivers do not know this uncategorized road and its condition, they often continue driving until they encounter a problem.

GSS therefore urges drivers to check the condition of the road before driving, especially in winter, and to check that it is the main road, regardless of the fact that the navigation shows a shorter route.
