Hamas said 33 hostages in Gaza had been killed during the nearly 14-month-long war between the Palestinian group and Israel.

The statement did not specify the nationalities of the hostages killed, but Hamas said there were also missing hostages.

“If your crazy war continues, you could lose your hostages forever. Do what you must do before it is too late,” it said in a statement to Israel.

Hamas soon released a video detailing when and how the hostages were killed, blaming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for their fate.

The Israeli military has not yet commented, and Israeli military strikes in Gaza have since resumed.

Hamas has called for an end to the war and a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza as part of any deal to free the remaining hostages. Netanyahu said the war would continue until Hamas was eradicated, so that it could no longer pose a threat to Israel.
