‘Hamlet in the village Mrduša Donja’ in Sarajevo National Theatre

hamlet1On 22 April, Monday, citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to once again see the play ‘Hamlet in the village Mrduša Donja’ which will be shown at Sarajevo National Theatre at 7.30 p.m.

The play ”Hamlet in the village Mrduša Donja”  (Hamlet u selu Mrduša Donja) is a play that is loosely based on Shakespeare’s Hamlet and it talks about primitivism, stupidity, and corruption of the system.

The play was directed and adapted by Sulejman Kupusović,  and the cast of the play are Josip Pejaković, Milan Pavlović, Mirsad Tuka, Nerman Mahmutović, Amina Begović, Mirvad Kurić, Aldin Omerović, Merima Lepić, Slaven Vidak, Sanela Krsmanović and Riad Ljutović.
