Vice President Kamala Harris appears to be narrowly trailing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in many critical “swing states” where undecided voters will determine the outcome of the election, according to a poll in the United States(U.S.).
The results of research conducted by “The Hill” newspaper and “Emerson College” regarding the U.S. presidential elections to be held on November 5th have been published. These are polls in the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Harris trails Trump in four of the five swing states surveyed. In one state, the two names appear to be equal.
In the poll, Trump has the largest advantage over Harris by five points in Arizona, while he is narrowly ahead of Harris by two points each in Georgia and Pennsylvania and one point in Michigan. In Wisconsin, Trump and Harris are tied at 47 percent.
Compared to early July polls, Harris appears to have a five-point lead in Georgia over Biden, who dropped out of the race, four points in Arizona and Wisconsin, and three points in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
The fate of presidential elections in the U.S. is determined by states that vacillate between Democrats and Republicans every term and are called “swing states”. Parties are concentrating their campaign efforts especially in these swing states, which they consider critical “undecided voters.”
