The Head of the European Union Delegation and EU Special Representative in Bosnia and Hezegovina, Ambassador Peter Sorensen, together with UK Ambassador, H.E. Nigel Casey, Italian Ambassador H..E. Ruggero Corrias, Greece Charge d’affaires a.i. Sotirios Demesticas, Spain Deputy Head of Mission, Luis Bueno, Consul-General of the Republic of Croatia in Banja Luka, Dunja Jevak will visit Banja Luka on Thursday, 12 September 2013.
During the visit, Ambassador Sorensen and EU diplomats will meet the RS officials to discuss the burning issues which must be solved in order to allow for Bosnia and Herzegovina to progress in European integration – namely, implementation of the Sejdic-Finci judgement and the establishment of the EU coordination mechanism. They will also meet with the municipal leadership in Banja Luka, tour the Kastel Fortress which is being reconstructed with the EU funds, meet the local NGOs and pay a visit to the Children’s Home.
