Health Fund of the RS borrows 30 million BAM!

dodikAlthough the ruling structures in the RS are constantly convincing the public in the smaller BiH entity that they do not have any urging need for loan of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the latest public tender, which was published by the Health Fund of the RS, proves the opposite.

That the financial crisis in the RS is omnipresent is proved by the fact that on Friday, the 22nd of July, appeared tender on the Public Procurement Portal of BiH, in which the Health Fund of the RS, through five separate lots, asked for the loan in the amount of about 30 million BAM excluding VAT.
The Health Fund of the RS announced a public tender in which all banks have the right of participation. With the first lot is planned procurement of funds in the amount of 5 million BAM, while the estimated total contract value excluding VAT is 6,406,000 BAM. The second lot also provides borrowing of 5 million BAM and the estimated value is also 6.406 000 BAM, and the third lot is in the same amount as well. The fourth lot predicts debt of 4 million BAM, and the estimated value of the contract is 5.050 000 BAM, and the fifth lot borrows the fund in the amount of 4,230,000 BAM or 5.560 000 BAM excluding VAT.
The city of Banja Luka also issued a public tender for procurement of financial services, in other words, loans. The amount that is demanded is 80,000 BAM! But the explanation of such claim which is stated in the tender is particularly interesting: the City of Banja Luka claims these funds for temporary financing of the budget deficit that has emerged as a result of cash flow.
Loans requested by the RS are planned on 7 years, which will affect the interest rates. This suggests that the situation is difficult and the repayment period is extended for a longer time in order to reduce the current burden.
