Heavy Rain that caused flooded Streets in Banja Luka

Traffic in Banja Luka was literally paralyzed today due to heavy rain that caused flooded streets.

Several traffic accidents were also recorded, and some traffic lights are still not working.

“Due to the strong storm that hit Banja Luka, the traffic lights at certain intersections in the city are currently not working, so please be careful,” appealed from the City Administration.

Citizens from several Banja Luka settlements reported to the authorities that water had entered their house and that damage had been caused.

The Hydrometeorological Institute has not yet announced how much rain fell, but the people of Banja Luka witnessed a storm, i.e. heavy rain and sometimes hail, which lasted for about half an hour.

The sewage drains could not receive all the water, which is why the streets were flooded in a very short time.

The water is receding, and the competent teams on the ground will assess the situation and react if necessary – adds the City Administration.
