Appeal on Fire Danger radiosarajevo.baAt a request of the Jablanica Civil Protection Service, the Armed Forces of BiH have in early morning sent a Mi8-MTV helicopter to assist in extinguishing the fire on Jablanica Mountain.

“During the past days, on June 26th, the BiH Armed Forces team, with assistance of MI8-MTV helicopter realized a total of 5.2 hours of extinguishing, during which 46 tons of water have been thrown out”, is stated from the Ministry of Defense of BiH.

Taking into consideration that the locality of the fire is inaccessible, and there is a large forest taken by the fire, to be more precise, a pine forest on the slopes of Mount Cvrsnica, the Armed Forces of BiH will be on the alert and ready to provide assistance to civilian authorities in extinguishing the fire.
