hellbachApproach which was originally British-German initiative has become the European approach and it is a great chance for progress  on European path of BiH, stated Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH Christian Hellbach.

Ambassador Hellbach gave a lecture last night at the headquarters of Party of Democratic Action (SDA) hosted by the Political Academy of SDA, on new EU approach to BiH, which was attended by students of the Political Academy of SDA from the entire BiH.

‘’Approach of the Political Academy of SDA definitely has my support and it is my pleasure to have an opportunity to discuss the new EU approach to BiH with these young people tonight,’’ said Hellbach.

Vice President of SDA and Director of SDA Political Academy Senad Šepić said that our country has a new chance to move forward on its European path and that support and experience of Germany as a great friend of BiH is very important.

‘’Support in making the initial set of socio-economic reforms will be especially important to us, which needs to be done right after visit of the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Federica Mogherini and formation of governments on all levels and support of Ambassador Hellbach and other EU representatives is very encouraging,’’ emphasized Šepić.

Šepić stated he expects final agreement to be reached at today’s meeting of political leaders.

He thanked Germany, Great Britain and the entire EU which gave a new opportunity to BiH, stating we will know how to accept that helping hand.

He reminded that SDA and most parties which make the parliamentary majority signed a joint document on the European commitment in April last year.
