Here is the List of the best Beaches in Europe for 2024

The ranking published on the European Best Destinations page lists the best beaches of the Old Continent for the year 2024, and the idyllic destination in Malta is in first place.

The golden sand beaches of the Algarve and the Canary Islands, the wild beaches of Greece, the river beaches perfect for families, for water sports or enjoyment – it’s all covered by the list of the European Best Destinations site.

“Treat yourself to a vacation in these havens of pure nature that offer dream beaches and the opportunity to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself. It’s time to let yourself go,” they state with the list.

This ranking brings together the most popular beaches as voted by travelers around the world.

First up is Ghajn Tuffieha Bay from Malta, located near the coastal town of Mellieha, which was awarded by the European Commission for its commitment to sustainable tourism. Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, with its magnificent cliffs and sandy beach, is the perfect choice for your holiday.

This beach offers high standards of cleanliness and service with restaurants and a snack bar. Deck chairs and water activities are also available.

Monte Clerigo Beach in Aljezur, Portugal is in second place. With its famous castle, culinary tradition, but also preserved nature and breathtaking beaches, such as Amoreira, Bordeira, Odeceixe, Arrifana, Monte Clerigo – Aljezur is a fantastic destination to choose this summer.

Oludeniz Beach in Turkey is in third place, and it is adorned with fine sand and incredible blue shades of the sea.

Ksamil in Albania is also on this year’s list, and they say that the clean water that surrounds these islands makes the untouched beaches in the area even more special, Klix.ba reports.

Canal d’Amour, Greece

Porto Timoni, Greece

Las Teresitas, Spain

Odeceixe, Portugal

St. Paul’s Bay, Greece

As Catedrais, Spain

Calpe, Spain

Porto Katsiki, Greece

Scialara, Italy

Grado, Italy

Ksamil, Albania

Vai, Greece
