President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH Milorad Novković said that in the next year this judicial institution will work on establishing more efficient judiciary. They will also work on reducing the backlog of cases from previous years, and will try to establish the EU standards.
Novković said that HJPC BiH will give special attention on financing the judicial institutions, especially in FBiH, where they’ll try to secure financing from only one source. He added that BiH must eliminate fragmentary financing of judicial institutions.
