The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament approved today at its session the granting of consent to the Imres Livno company for the construction of the “Široka Draga” wind farm in the area of Livno and Tomislavgrad.

The House also approved the granting of consent to the company “Vjetroelektrane” Glamoč for the construction of the power plant “Dževa” in the territory of that municipality, as well as to the Winter Wind Tomislavgrad for the construction of the wind farm “Tušnica”.

It was also decided that the House of Representatives will soon consider regulations that would make it easier for potential investors to obtain permits for the implementation of useful projects in the field of ‘green energy’.

Currently, the procedure is very complex, so someone who wants to invest in the construction of a wind farm, for example, needs to obtain 36 different consents and permits, it was said at the session.

The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina approved today at its session a loan of 17 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the implementation of the Sarajevo Public Transport e-Mobility Project.

If the loan is approved by the House of Peoples and other conditions are met, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will transfer the money from the loan to the Sarajevo Canton as the end user.

The project envisages the procurement and installation of an adaptive traffic management system, including the construction of a management center, as well as the procurement of up to five new trams for better public transport efficiency in Sarajevo.

The anticipated loan repayment term is 15 years, with a three-year grace period.

At the session, another decision related to the improvement of public transport in the Sarajevo Canton was previously approved, and it refers to a loan of 25 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the construction of the Ilidža – Hrasnica tram line.

It is foreseen that the money from the loan will be transferred by the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Sarajevo Canton as the final beneficiary and debtor with the same repayment term of 15 years with a grace period of three years.
