According to the latest available data by the Central Bank of B&H, direct foreign investments in the second quarter of 2015 amount to 193.1 million BAM, thereby the total investments in the first half of 2015 amount to 314.7 million BAM; it was stated in the Report on Microeconomic Trends in B&H by the Directorate for Economic Planning.
Direct foreign investments record a decrease by 17.7 percent in comparison with the first half of 2014.
It should be taken into consideration that this amount is incomplete, since it does not include recorded retained earnings which are a part of direct foreign investments and which are being published at annual level only.
The most investments originated from Austria (111.9 million), Luxembourg (63.2 million) and Croatia (36.7 million). In the first half of 2015, it was invested the most in trade (103.9 million), manufacturing industry (20.6 million) and telecommunications (64.7 million).
