How will the Vaccines be distributed in Bosnia?

At an extraordinary telephone session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Information of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH on receiving and determining the distribution of donations from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Turkey, and Nestle, intended for response and suppression of coronavirus infection.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH is in charge of receiving donations from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Turkey and the company “Nestle” on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs will distribute a total of 100,000 Swiss francs (CHF) donated by Nestle, with the aim of speeding up the vaccination process in BiH.

The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive CHF 60,760, the Republika Srpska CHF 37,240 and the Brčko District BiH BiH CHF 2,000.

The donation of the People’s Republic of China of 50,000 doses of Sinofarm vaccines will be distributed to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (30,380), the Republika Srpska (18,620) and the Brčko District of BiH (1,000).

The Ministry of Civil Affairs will also distribute a donation of 30,000 doses of Sinovac vaccines to the Republic of Turkey to the Federation of BiH (17,980), the Republika Srpska (11,020) and the Brcko District of BiH (1,000).

Vaccines from the Republic of Turkey arrived at Sarajevo International Airport on March 28, 2021.
