High Representative Christian Schmidt met with Reis-ul-Ulema Husein Kavazović ahead of the beginning of Ramadan, highlighting the significance of this holy month for Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina and around the globe.

They underscored the importance of dialogue, mutual respect, and nurturing Bosnia and Herzegovina’s longstanding tradition of coexistence.

“In challenging times, no inflammatory speeches, but culture, faith, and open communication remain essential bridges between communities and a foundation for trust, understanding, and a shared future,” said HR Schmidt.
