The High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt, as reported by the portals, canceled the announced meeting with the Vice President of Republika Srpska Ćamil Duraković, in Banja Luka. At the same time, Duraković says that he cannot confirm this information, and that there is no announcement about the cancellation of the meeting. Duraković also said that no one can dispute his right to use the premises that he has as the entity’s vice president.
The reasons for the potential cancellation of the meeting and whether it is a matter of giving in to Dodik’s threats are not known for now.
The General Secretary of the Office of the President of the RS, we remind you, banned Schmidt’s meetings in the official premises and an order was issued to prevent him from entering. The opposition from RS also stated that their representatives will not attend the meeting.
