150131051.1_mnYesterday, a group of citizens organized a humanitarian action under the slogan “Selam, the voice of peace”. Citizens could give away food for the users of the soup kitchen Stari Grad and donate blood as well.

“We launched this humanitarian action encouraged by the negative images, comments and stories in the media about Islam. In addition we are seeking an answer to insults and published caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad and in our opinion this is the best type of reaction, to show the world what Islam is really the faith of dignity, kindness and compassion, “said Rifat Kukić, one of the organizers of the action” Selam, the voice of peace “.

In this way, he added, their aim is to make a concrete well to the people who are in social need and to help them in food, as well as to give blood which can save lives.
