Humanitarian Festival of the Balkan Arts Open at the Historical Museum of Sarajevo

news-2013-Januar-historijski_muzej_bih_407777286The 2nd edition of the humanitarian festival “Spiritus Progenitum” to last seven days was open yesterday in the Historical Museum of Sarajevo.

Through activities of the festival, the poetry of Balkan artist illustrated by Tomislav Dobrijević from Zagreb and Ana Dominik Rodić from Sarajevo will be promoted.

Besides poetry and illustrations, the visitors will have the chance to see the exposition of drawings of Japanese architecture as well as ceramics work made within the workshop by the Institute “Mjedenica”. All works made by kids from the Institute will be for sale, and the profit out of is destined to improving the work of the atelier/workshop.

The festival is organized by artistic society “Val” which contributes and support this way the BH culture.

Besides promoting culture, “Val” promotes works by creative children with special needs too.
