Yesterday, from early in the morning on Veliko Polje on Igman, a traditional gathering of all hunting associations in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) was organized.

In the sun-bathed BiH mountain beauty, hundreds of hunters enjoyed a great time, through numerous previously planned activities organized by the Association of Hunting Associations of BiH.

It all started with a parade, in which more than 40 associations from different parts of BiH participated, then some members gave speeches.

Then the celebration started. Before the official competition programs, all present could enjoy the CAC Igman State Hunting Dog Show 2023. Then the competition in goulash making started.

Each association had the opportunity to register its cooking team. The hunters prepared the ingredients and wood earlier. The competition was also organized in shot put, where each association could register one competitor from its ranks. The team tug-of-war competition was equally interesting.

Mirsad Medic, president of the hunting association “Bjelasnica” Hadzici told that he is proud that a large number of hunters from all over BiH were present at Igman.

”The hunting association “Bjelasnica” from Hadzici was founded in 1954. It currently has over 400 members, distributed in four sections. As in previous years, this year we took an active part in the “Igman 2023” Association of Hunters event organized by the Association of Hunting Organizations in BiH. About 150 of our members are attending the mentioned event, and as hunting and socializing know no borders, our guests from the “Fazan” hunting club from Doboj, Pridjel section, are with us today,” Medic said yesterday.

Finally, there was entertainment for the younger participants, (those born since 2008), for whom a pioneering archery competition was organized.

The party continued for hours in a good atmosphere, and a kolo (traditional dance) was also performed, N1 reports.
