The Hungarian aluminum factory “MAL” is interested in business cooperation with the Zvornik Company “Alumina”, which would be reflected in the delivery of alumina hydrate in tis big factory in western Hungary.
“Alumine” company said that the cooperation would also imply that the company in Zvonik would be supplied with bauxite from Jajce Mine, which is co-owned by “MAL”.
The General Director of the factory “MAL” Zoran Bakonji presented plans of the Hungarian factory on the possible cessation of the production of alumina hydrate according to the Bajer process and the readiness to buy most of the quantity of alumina hydrate from “Alumina” to the leadership of the Zvornik Company yesterday. The production range of factory “MAL” is focused on special types of alumina hydrate, intended mainly for the chemical, refractory and ceramics industry.
The technical director of “Alumine” Čedomir Zelenović said that for the Zvornik Company this is a very important and encouraging conversation, and that he expects that they would find mutual interest and establish long-term business cooperation with “MAL”. He added that, in addition to the secure product placement of “Alumine”, the supply of bauxite is very significant, which is provided through this business relationship.
“The mine in Jajce has a very high quality bauxite, which would, in the course of processing it in this factory, improve the quality and price of the production of alumina in our company’’, said Zelenović.
The Director of the mine for bauxite from Jajce Tihomir Radovac said that the capacity of this mine is between 120.000 and 150.000 tons of bauxite a year.
The discussions were attended by the President of the Management Board of “Alumine” Mile Matić and the Consultant Director of the Company for Technical-Commercial Business Miodrag Spasojević.
