Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto spoke by phone with Milorad Dodik.
He emphasized that he would not support sanctions against Dodik and that the European integration of the Western Balkans must be accelerated and that this would be a solution to the crisis.
At the same time, High Representative Christian Schmidt told Gurdian that the threat of re-establishing the Republika Srpska Army has weakened so far, but that BiH and the region are still heading for a crisis if there is no significant US-European diplomatic engagement.
Dodik also spoke up. He reiterated an earlier view that Schmidt was misrepresenting himself.
