Ice Surface on Wilson’s Promenade set for Fans of Ice Skating

ice-surfaceLast week, the ice surface was set in the Wilson Promenade, where all generations will have the opportunities to enjoy a variety of content suitable for holidays and the New Year, and all within the “Ice Spell”.

In the open scene at Wilson’s Promenade, besides the ice surface and ice rinks, wooden cottages are placed as well.

From the 25th of December, throughout the winter holidays, children will have the opportunity to learn to ice skate for free, and skating school will be organized for senior citizens as well.

The whole area near the site will be decorated, including a big Christmas tree to evoke the festive atmosphere on the popular Sarajevo promenade.

The opening of “Ice Spell” is planned for the 24th of December, and citizens of Sarajevo as well as visitors will be able to skate until the 10th of February.

Winter city on Wilson’s Promenade will be held until the 25th of January, with all the necessary equipment, wooden houses, covered stands, Christmas tree and decoration for winter city.

The above mentioned project will attract a large number of visitors in this period of the year, beautify the tourist offer of the city and revive Wilson’s Promenade during winter season.
