ICTY President Meron to Visit BiH

meronThe ICTY and MICT President Theodor Meron will conduct a three-day working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 25-27 November 2014.

During his mission President Meron will meet victims of the conflicts that took place in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990’s and visit locations where the ICTY has established that crimes were committed against Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs during the conflicts.

President Meron is scheduled to visit Čelebići, Uzdol and Sarajevo.

Whilst in Sarajevo, President Meron will also meet with the President of the BiH Court, Meddžida Kreso, and with High Representative, Ambassador Valentin Inzko.

President Meron shall also visit the secondary school “Druga Gimnazija” to meet students and teachers involved in ICTY Outreach’s Youth Project.
