After the ceasefire came into effect, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) fired warning shots at what they said were Hezbollah members in the Lebanese village of Kfarkela, Israeli media reported.

As Kan News military correspondent Itay Blumenthal reported on social media, the IDF had identified several vehicles in Lebanese territory with possible Hezbollah members in the past hour. The vehicles were in a restricted area near Kfarkela.

IDF forces fired shots to prevent them from entering the area, after which the suspects withdrew.

The IDF said the Israeli Air Force was ready for action, while the Lebanese territory and Israeli defense systems were on high alert. There have been no changes to the directives of the Israeli Civil Defense Command for now.

The village of Kfarkela is located in the immediate vicinity of the Israeli town of Metula, in the far north of the territory under Israeli control.
