IGC: Court of BiH Rules Dodik Poses a Serious Threat to the State

The Institute for Research of Genocide Canada (IGC) stated that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) ruled that Milorad Dodik is indeed a serious threat to the state of BiH, by undermining its legal order, ignoring the decisions of the High Representative, and especially dangerously endangering the integrity of the state of BiH by denying state institutions.

IGC calls on the Court, the Election Commission, and all other competent institutions of the state of BiH to implement the final verdict and thus confirm the functioning of the state of BiH.

It is added that this is indeed a verdict against the president of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity, but it is also a warning to all those who try from within to endanger the territorial integrity, sovereignty, independence, and political-legal subjectivity of the state of BiH.

The Appellate Panel of the Court of BiH yesterday confirmed the verdict against Milorad Dodik by which he was sentenced to one year in prison and a ban on engaging in politics for a duration of six years.
