The mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Ron van Rooden, shall be in visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina from 3 to 12 December in order to continue talks within the framework of the eighth review under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA), said in Sarajevo yesterday Ruben Atoyan, Resident Representative of the International Monetary Fund in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Executive Directors of the IMF on 26 September 2012, approved the request of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the two-year SBA.
The combined sixth and seventh reviews were completed on 30. June 2014, when the IMF approved increase of SBA for 84.55 million SDR (about 95.7 million euros), to help the country meet the urgent needs of the balance of payments caused by the terrible floods which affected Bosnia and Herzegovina in May 2014.
The conclusion of the review and expanding of the program enabled the payment of the amount of 169.1 million SDR (about 191.4 million euros).
So far, as part of the program, the total of 422.75 million SDR (about 478.5 million euros) have been allocated.
