Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Denis Zvizdić today received the first ambassador of Ukraine to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Volodymyr Bachynski, for an inaugural visit.

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine were discussed, as well as the possibilities of improving cooperation on the political, economic and parliamentary level. On that occasion, Zvizdić welcomed Ambassador Bachynski and wished him a successful and constructive mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Bachynskyi thanked for the reception and continued respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He emphasized Ukraine’s commitment to strengthening friendly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to intensifying cooperation in areas of common interest.

He thanked Zvizdić for his participation in all the meetings of the Crimean Platform for Support of Ukraine at the parliamentary level.

The interlocutors agreed that there is room for the improvement of parliamentary cooperation, the exchange of experiences, and the strengthening of dialogue between the institutions of the two countries, announced the PSBiH.
