The Chairman of the Joint Commission for Defense and Security of the BiH Parliament Drušanka Majkić spoke in Sarajevo yesterday with the Ambassador of the US to BiH Patrick Moon on the current situation in the defense sector with a particular emphasis on the issue of disposing surplus weapons and military equipment.
During the meeting they spoke of the ways in which to improve the process of obtaining equipment for the defense sector.
They said that it is necessary to include all the relevant authorities in government to fix the problem in the area of weapons disposal, and especially the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH.
