Increase in Consumer Prices recorded in BiH

In January 2023, consumer prices in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina increased by 0.3 percent on average compared to the previous month.

Prices increased in the sections: furniture, household appliances and regular home maintenance by 1.1 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1.0 percent, restaurants and hotels by 0.7 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco by 0.6, other goods and services by 0.4 percent and health by 0.3 percent.

Prices fell in the sections: clothing and footwear by 2.8 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other energy products by 0.5 and transportation by 0.4 percent.

In other sections, on average, prices did not change.

In January 2023, compared to January 2022, prices increased by 14.7 percent (annual inflation).
