Increase in Number of Positive Cases and Deaths in Bosnia

In the past 24 hours, 757 newly infected and 11 deaths were reported in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 2,366 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 542 were positive for the virus. New cases have been registered in all cantons in the Federation of BiH, except in Posavina.

A total of 445,893 samples have been tested so far, and the virus has been confirmed in 84,367 people.

As of today, 76,457 patients have been cured in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 311 patients have recovered, and 5,255 cases are currently active. Nine deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

At the Institute of Public Health of the Republika Srpska, a new coronavirus was confirmed in 202 people, while two people died as a result of the disease. When it comes to newly infected, there are 99 men and 103 women. In the last 24 hours, two deaths have been reported to the Republika Srpska Institute of Public Health.

These are elderly people from Pale and Doboj. So far, 42,804 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Republika Srpska, and a total of 2,232 people have died.

Today, 13 new cases were registered in the Brcko District of BiH, and 66 samples were tested. There are currently 121 active cases.
