Today, a new wave of heat along the Neretva under the Old Bridge in Mostar has brought the mercury of the thermometer to an incredible 50 degrees Celsius.
The application on the mobile phone shows that it was officially measured at 41 degrees in Mostar, while the temperature in cars was measured up to 10 degrees higher.
Let us remind you that Mostar has been known for years as the hottest city in Europe and that during the summer days, working hours in many companies and institutions are changed and shortened precisely because of the heat.
The city streets are deserted, and the few passers-by protect themselves from the sun with hats and essential bottles of water.
Due to the high temperatures of the last few days, the involvement of the Emergency Medical Service has increased in Mostar.
