Seven days ago, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh sent a letter to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković asking for help for Palestine, Istraga.ba reports.

“Operation (Al-Aqsa Flood) will continue until it achieves its goals and the world must listen to the oppressed, remove the mask and stop supporting this fascist and racist occupation. We call on the Arab and Islamic nations and all free people of the world to take immediate action and mobilize support and solidarity in all forms to protect the firm and historic Palestinian right. It is time for justice to prevail, for our people to enjoy freedom and to be able to return to their hearths from which they were exiled, and for all forms of occupation, settlement and aggression against peoples and sanctuaries to stop”; it was stated in a letter dated October 11 of this year.

In a letter to Minister Konaković, the first man of Hamas, whose members committed a terrorist attack on October 7, killing several hundred Israelis and taking hostages who were then taken to the Gaza Strip, followed by Israeli retaliation against civilian targets, explains the history of the Palestinian struggle.

“Our Palestinian people have always aspired to freedom, independence and return, but since the occupation of the land of Palestine in 1948, our people have faced serious violations and attacks by the Zionist occupation leaders, their soldiers and settlers. These violations have affected all aspects of Palestinian life: systematic displacement and killing, kidnapping and imprisonment, daily racist and continuous attacks, violations of shrines and the right to prayer, theft and usurpation of land and property, and the deliberate adoption of a policy of siege and slow killing. In light of the rise of the Zionist fanatical right to power in the occupation government and its adoption of the “Conflict Resolution” strategy, the Palestinian cause has become an existential challenge, threatening its present and future, and our rights to our land, our homeland and our sanctuaries, and above all the right to return and self-determination. Thus; The Hamas movement called on all parties to exert urgent pressure to stop these violations that exceeded all rules of international law, above all the crime, the very occupation and the deprivation of our people’s right to self-determination and return. However, this fascist government continued with its crimes against our people and its sanctuaries. It burned villages, confiscated thousands of dunums of Palestinian land to build new settlements and carried out daily massacres, invading cities and refugee camps, demolishing houses on the heads of their inhabitants. What is most difficult for our people and our nation is the continuous violation of the Al-Aqsa Mubarak Mosque, allowing extreme settlers to desecrate it and perform their “Talmudic prayers” in it daily, expelling Muslim believers and attacking them, underestimating the feelings of millions of Muslims around the world, and develop plans to take ultimate control over the mosque and divide it, dividing it on a spatial and temporal basis, while their shoes trampled the Holy Qur’an. In the courtyard of the mosque, our women were dragged and old men were beaten, in a way that is unacceptable to any free and dignified person, and is against all values and customs, as well as international and humanitarian laws, which refer to the full right of Muslims over the mosque,” it was stated. in a letter from Hamas.

The international community, it was stated further, did nothing to put an end to Israeli crimes, Istraga reports.

During the address to the media on Friday evening, Konaković referred to the information provided by some BiH media that a letter from Hamas was allegedly sent to his address. The verification of the institutions did not establish the authenticity of the letter, he said, calling it a “fabrication”, although experts believe that the letter may rather have the handwriting of “some other terrorist organization”.

He urged the media not to send a radicalized image of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the world.

“It is not important that they are used to deal with me, but it is important that such stories are misused and Bosnia and Herzegovina is made into a radicalized scene. Do not plant such spins and lies, such traces will remain in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a very long time,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
