ivo kom?i? 1Sarajevo is the capital city of BiH and this has to be insisted upon, said the Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić in a statement for Fena.

He said that his priority is for the symbolic functioning of the Mayor is affirmed now more than ever, that it be a symbol of integration, a symbol of the capital city.

He assessed that it is necessary to work on projects that reaffirm Sarajevo as the capital city of BiH.

“The integration of the city is in first place, because it is divided and I will continue to at least functionally integrate it with my colleagues from the City Council and to open more cooperation between
cities in BiH, Mostar, Banja Luka and East Sarajevo”, said Komšić.

He believes that joint cooperation and projects are important.

“It is interesting that we all have some projects somewhere outside of BiH, but we do not have much to offer one another and I think that it is very important to do that”, he said.
